SRT - Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician

This is a very in depth two-day class on the "How
To" of dealing with fire and smoke damage. This class is designed for the
beginner and the person already doing smoke and fire restoration.
You will
learn about staffing a restoration company, dealing with the insurance
industry, packing, moving and storage of contents, structure restoration,
type of equipment used to perform services, deodorization concepts, the
proper cleaning supplies, safety on the job, soiling associated with fire
claims, the different types of smoke and how each type effects your
restoration job, sample forms, scope and estimating, fibers and fabrics,
emergency service, marketing and sales, ultrasonics, ozone, restoration of
books, electronics, artwork.
IICRC owns no schools and produces no training
materials. However, IICRC does recognize established schools throughout
the nation that meet specific standards of Certification. Ron Valega is
the owner of the school of "J. Henry & Company/ The TMC Group "
Anyone attending this class has the option at the
end of the course to take the IICRC Certification examination.
The examination, along with the proper application
and fees, is forwarded to the IICRC for processing. Once a person meets the
qualifications they are sent Certification credentials.
CLASS TIMES: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM each day.
Manual is included with each registration.
Certification testing begins immediately following the course. A separate
fee (cash, check, or credit card) payable to IICRC is required at the time
of testing.
